About

Support for your family, grounded in real school experience.

I help parents of teenagers understand what’s happening with learning, behaviour and wellbeing at school — and find a calmer, more practical way forward.

Hello, I’m Daria

I’ve spent more than 12 years working in education — alongside teenagers, parents and schools. Over that time I’ve supported families through learning difficulties, attention and motivation struggles, behaviour that puzzles everyone involved, and the anxiety that so often builds up around school.

My background spans learning support and neurodiversity — ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia and executive functioning — as well as the practical, human side of how schools actually work day to day. I’ve sat in the meetings, read the reports, and helped translate them into something families can use.

To be clear about what I am and am not: I’m not a doctor, psychologist or diagnostician, and I don’t assess or diagnose. I’m a specialist who helps you understand the bigger picture, prepare for what’s next, and feel more confident as your child’s advocate.

How I can help

From feeling stuck to having a plan

Every family is different, so we start where you are. Common things we work on together:

Understand what’s happening at school

We unpack what’s really going on for your child — academically, socially and emotionally — so the situation feels less confusing and more workable.

Prepare for meetings with the school

We get you ready for that next conversation: what to ask, what to bring, what good support looks like, and how to keep the focus on your child’s needs.

Make sense of reports and recommendations

Assessment reports, support plans, adjustments and recommendations can be dense and full of jargon. We go through them together so you know what they mean and what to do next.

Find practical strategies for home and school

We choose realistic, everyday approaches — for routines, homework, organisation, motivation and communication — that suit your child and your family life.

Speak with the school more confidently

You learn to express your child’s needs clearly and calmly, build a constructive relationship with staff, and follow things through to action.

Understand neurodiversity without the overwhelm

ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, executive functioning — we make these understandable and practical, focused on your child rather than labels.

  • You want to understand ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety or executive functioning — without being overwhelmed.
  • You’d like to feel calmer and more confident when dealing with the school.
  • You want practical next steps, not more worry.
