[ ] placeholders with your real details and have it reviewed for your jurisdiction. It is provided as guidance, not legal advice. This policy explains how the Parent Support website (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal data when you visit this site or get in touch. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information openly and lawfully.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Daria Zemlinova (“Parent Support”), the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
- Controller: Daria Zemlinova — Parent Support
- Contact for privacy matters: hello@example.com
- Business address: [ add address or region, e.g. “United Kingdom” ]
2. What information we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and provide our services:
- Information you give us — when you submit the contact form or the free-guide form: your name, email address, and any details you choose to include in your message (which may include information about your child).
- Technical information — standard server and security data such as your IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting and form providers to deliver the site securely.
Please share only what is necessary. We ask that you avoid including sensitive medical or diagnostic details in the contact form; we can discuss those securely once we are in touch.
3. How and why we use your information (lawful bases)
Under the UK GDPR / EU GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:
- To respond to your enquiry and provide services — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you.
- To send you the free guide and related follow-ups — on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the guide form. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- To keep the site secure and working — on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a safe, functional website.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, acting as our processors:
- Hosting — [ e.g. GitHub Pages / Cloudflare Pages ], which serves the website.
- Form handling — [ e.g. Formspree ], which delivers contact-form submissions to us by email.
- Email / newsletter — [ e.g. Mailchimp / MailerLite ], if you sign up for the free guide.
- Scheduling — [ e.g. Calendly ], if and when online booking is enabled.
- Fonts — this site currently loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address. See section 7 if you would prefer fonts to be self-hosted.
5. International transfers
Some of the providers above may process data outside your country (for example, in the United States). Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses or equivalent approved mechanisms.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to help you and for our own reasonable records, and free-guide sign-ups until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see section 8).
7. Cookies
This site is designed to be light on cookies. We use only what is strictly necessary for the site to function and to remember that you have seen the cookie notice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Essential / preference — a small local record that remembers you dismissed the cookie banner, so it doesn’t reappear on every page.
- Third-party — embedded tools you actively use (such as a booking calendar) may set their own cookies when loaded. Google Fonts does not set cookies but does receive your IP address; if you prefer to avoid this, the fonts can be self-hosted — ask us and we will arrange it.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to: access a copy of it; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to its use; withdraw consent; and request portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@example.com and we will respond within the time required by law.
If you are in the UK and have a concern we cannot resolve, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. If you are in the EU, you may contact your local supervisory authority.
9. Children’s data
Our service is aimed at parents and carers, not children. Any information about a child is provided to us by the parent or carer. We treat such information with particular care and only use it to provide the support requested.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
