Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 June 2026
This policy explains how the Parent Support website (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal information when you visit this site or get in touch. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Daria Zemlinova (“Parent Support”), who is responsible for the collection and handling of the personal information described in this policy.
- Controller: Daria Zemlinova — Parent Support
- Contact for privacy matters: hello@diversejourneys.com.au
- Business address: 19/51 Cottesloe Drive, Robina 4226 QLD, Australia
2. What information we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and provide our services:
- Information you give us — when you submit the contact form or the free-guide form: your name, email address, and any details you choose to include in your message (which may include information about your child).
- Technical information — standard server and security data such as your IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting and form providers to deliver the site securely.
Please share only what is necessary. We ask that you avoid including sensitive medical or diagnostic details in the contact form; we can discuss those securely once we are in touch.
3. How and why we collect and use your information
We collect and use your personal information for the following primary purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and provide services — to answer your questions, assess your needs, and provide parent coaching or consultation services.
- To send you the free guide and related follow-ups — to deliver the resources you have requested. You can opt out of these updates at any time.
- To keep the site secure and working — to operate a safe, functional, and reliable website.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, acting as our processors:
- Hosting — Cloudflare Pages, which serves the website.
- Form handling — Cal.com, which delivers contact-form submissions to us by email.
- Email / newsletter — Mailchimp, if you sign up for the free guide.
- Scheduling — Calendly, for online booking of consultation calls.
- Fonts — this site currently loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address. See section 7 if you would prefer fonts to be self-hosted.
5. Overseas disclosures
Some of our service providers may host, store, or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient handles it in accordance with standards comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to help you and for our own reasonable records, and free-guide sign-ups until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see section 8).
7. Cookies
This site is designed to be light on cookies. We use only what is strictly necessary for the site to function and to remember that you have seen the cookie notice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Essential / preference — a small local record that remembers you dismissed the cookie banner, so it doesn’t reappear on every page.
- Third-party — embedded tools you actively use (such as a booking calendar) may set their own cookies when loaded. Google Fonts does not set cookies but does receive your IP address; if you prefer to avoid this, the fonts can be self-hosted — ask us and we will arrange it.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
8. Access, correction and your rights
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to request that we correct any inaccuracies. You can also request that we delete your data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@diversejourneys.com.au and we will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.
If you have a concern or complaint about how we have handled your privacy, please contact us first so we can resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
9. Children’s data
Our service is aimed at parents and carers, not children. Any information about a child is provided to us by the parent or carer. We treat such information with particular care and only use it to provide the support requested.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
